For the first DNK sustainability report, we worked with the Humpert sustainability team to translate complex content into a clear, understandable and brand-appropriate form.

Humpert is much more than just a manufacturer of ergonomic bicycle components. The family-owned company looks back on over 100 years of history and employs around 125 people. In addition to the ergotec brand, Humpert also develops and manufactures tubular components for the bicycle, automotive, furniture and sanitary industries. As part of the company's communications strategy, we were asked to assist with the first DNK sustainability report – from the content structure to the visual implementation. The collaboration strengthens Humpert's position as a responsible player in the industry.
brief
For Humpert, our task was to prepare the first sustainability report in accordance with the German Sustainability Code (DNK) in a communicative manner. The challenge was to present extensive key figures and complex ESG content in a way that was understandable, appealing and consistent with the brand. To achieve this, we developed a clear content structure, ensured reader-friendly language and designed the report in line with the look and feel of the Humpert brand. The result is a format that creates transparency and highlights the company's commitment to sustainability – both internally and externally.
added value instead of greenwashing
In implementing this, we worked with the Double Diamond design thinking method – a structured process recommended by the British Design Council. The focus was on understanding: the content, the target groups and Humpert's attitude. Working closely with the company's sustainability team, we were able to precisely identify and refine the topics. The result: a report that is clear, understandable and credible – with real added value for customers, partners, employees and anyone who wants to know what Humpert stands for in terms of sustainability.
