Ergotec stands for ergonomics and safety in cycling like no other brand. The brand offers high-quality bicycle parts that cover all points of contact between rider and bike. What all components have in common is that they have been developed to improve comfort and performance when cycling. Ergotec combines scientific knowledge, product quality and comfort to make cycling more fun for cyclists.

"RichtigRadfahren" is ergotec's guiding principle. The brand not only contributes to this with ergonomic and safe components; ergotec also provides important educational work and advice. In cooperation with various doctors, physiotherapists and experienced cyclists, ergotec wants to offer a platform to help all cyclists ride without pain. To this end, an online tool (cyclingright.com) is to be created with which cyclists can learn how to adjust their bike correctly within 10 minutes.
from guiding principle to visual brand identity
Brand design encompasses all the visual elements that represent the brand, including the logo, colours, fonts, imagery and design guidelines. Good brand design creates a consistent brand identity and allows a brand to stand out and communicate its message effectively.
Richtigradfahren.de is to be established as an independent brand. To this end, a comprehensive brand design was developed that is based on the ergotec world but functions independently of it. In addition to the logo, favicon and colour scheme, individual icons were also developed for a special online tool: the pain finder.
a user-friendly online tool
Richtigradfahren.de's pain finder is a unique tool for cyclists: in just a few steps, users can easily localise and define the painful areas when cycling. After a short questionnaire, users receive a detailed result with many helpful tips on how to prevent problems while cycling.
The pain finder has been designed as an interactive online tool with a special focus on functionality and user-friendliness in order to provide users with the concentrated expertise in an entertaining and understandable form. The pain finder is consistently focussed on the user experience to ensure that users can quickly find what they are looking for and interact with it in a pleasant way.
understanding the user better
In order to make the website and online tool user-friendly and effective, the design process is based on extensive UX research. This involved analysing the needs and behaviour of users in order to identify weaknesses and recognise opportunities. Without UX research, there is a risk that the online tool will not be intuitive enough to use, which can quickly lead to frustration among users. Thanks to extensive analysis and prototyping, richtigradfahren.de is designed in such a way that cyclists can find their very own customised solution in just a few steps.
