Gronau is not only an architectural office and general contractor, but also a very successfully managed family business. The company specialises in the planning and construction of commercial halls, industrial and retail buildings as well as office and administration buildings and can look back on more than 40 years of experience.
As a long-standing client, Gronau relies on our expertise in various areas of corporate communication. We have already successfully implemented employer branding for Gronau in the past, enabling the company to further consolidate its position as an attractive employer in the construction industry. This trusting collaboration forms the basis for our current project, in which we were able to raise Gronau's digital presence to a new level.
task
Gronau has experienced considerable growth in recent years. Our brief was to bring the company up to date in terms of digital design. To do this, we carried out a comprehensive rebranding of the company's external image, ranging from corporate design to social media presence. We developed a new look for Gronau that matches the corporate identity: fresh, modern and timeless. We placed particular emphasis on a clear presentation of their projects and services.

new content for a variety of target groups
We developed the new website strategy in a joint workshop. Our main focus was on structuring the content in such a way that different target groups - from project developers to potential applicants - could easily find their way around. We expanded the site's content to provide interested parties with comprehensive information about Gronau's range of services and its specialisations in the areas of sustainability and digitalisation. This enables users to get a complete picture of the family-owned company.

rebrand for the family business
The first step of our project was to refresh Gronau's corporate design. We kept tried and tested elements such as the logo and added a new typography and colour palette. The updated corporate design includes new design elements that allow for an open and airy composition of text and images. As part of this update, we also developed numerous new icons for Gronau. These serve to illustrate call-to-actions and visually represent key figures and services. To ensure a uniform presentation of the Gronau brand, these icons are used across all contact points.







the design update
As part of the website update, we brought the new corporate design and all the content developed in the workshop to life. The website was significantly expanded and now has a much more extensive structure with numerous subpages and interesting case studies. In addition to the design, we also took on the technical realisation of the site. We placed particular emphasis on the fact that the customer can manage the site independently in the backend. This ensures organic growth of the website and allows it to be continuously updated with new topics and projects.

In order to strengthen Gronau's digital presence consistently across all contact points, we have given the social media channels a fresh, standardised design layout. This comprehensive update not only includes a new content structure, but also specially developed icons that support the visualisation of the company's values and service areas. Every element - from colour scheme to typography and imagery - is carefully aligned with the corporate identity to ensure that Gronau is perceived as a strong, unified brand.
